The individual should seek the assistance of Allāh (عز وجل) and he should try his best to protect his children. He should try his best to live in an area far from those individuals that oppose the fiṭra (natural disposition) of Allāh (سبحانه و تعالى), the pure nature that Allāh has created us on.”

Question:
In our countries many of the Muslims are too poor to make hijrah to the land of the Muslims and it is very difficult for us to raise our children here because now there is a big promotion of homosexuality and the destruction of manhood and womanhood. Now, they allow even the child to change their gender. What advice can you give us on how to protect our children from this, as we feel it is very difficult and we are surrounded by these ideologies?
Answer:
Firstly, it is upon the Muslim, if he lives in a land where he is unable to completely practice his religion, then it is upon that individual to be diligent, to the best of his ability, to leave that land. He should always remind himself, that once he has the ability, he would leave that land and he would go to another land that is safe, where he has the ability to practice his religion. A land where he can practice the religion of Allāh (عز وجل).
The individual must constantly remind himself of this, that if he has the opportunity (to leave), then he will do it. He will leave in a manner which is legislated and correct to the best of his ability. The individual must continue to remind himself of this obligation because verily this is from īmān (faith). It is from faith to constantly remind yourself of the importance and obligation of migration from the land where you are not able to worship your Lord, to the land where you are able to worship your Lord. The individual must constantly remind themselves of this obligation.
The second affair the individual mentioned in the question is about the difficulty they witness in raising their children. No doubt the further the individuals go away from the guidance of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) and the closer the individuals come to the Day of Judgment, the evil increases and multiples. We ask Allāh (عز وجل) to protect us from the trials and tribulations that are apparent and those that are hidden.
From the greatest of trials and tribulations that have afflicted the Muslims in many places in various countries is that which is related to raising the children because the desires and that which is attractive and that which is distracting is plentiful. It is a lot and it distracts from correctly raising your children.
The individual should seek the assistance of Allāh (عز وجل) and he should try his best to protect his children. He should try his best to live in an area far from those individuals that oppose the fiṭra (natural disposition) of Allāh (سبحانه و تعالى), the pure nature that Allāh has created us on. He should try his best to live far from those individuals that oppose the legislation of Allāh. You should try your best to be far from them. You should live in a place close to the Muslims. Live in a place where you can assist, help, and advise one another and assist and encourage one another with the truth and patience and you should do so to the best of your ability.
As for what was mentioned in the question about them taking your children and changing their gender, then this goes back to the mother of the affair and that is the importance of raising your children, boys and girls. I do not believe that they are going into your homes. I do not believe that there is a country that goes into your homes and takes your children or takes your boys or girls and says: “you must decide if you want to be a boy or a girl.” I do not believe that is the case. But the greatest burden is upon the mother and the father and upon where they live and who is around you. So, it is upon an individual to protect his children.
We ask Allāh (عز وجل) to give them ease, we ask Allāh (سبحانه و تعالى) to protect us and to protect them. The Shaykh حفظه الله)) said: “I do not have anything else to add to this.”
